What happens to
what you send me.

This site has no forms, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising. Nothing is collected while you read it. If you email me, I have your email. That is the whole of it, and the rest of this page explains it properly.

Who is responsible

EkaOne Global is an independent advisory practice. Sneha Kumar is the data controller for everything described on this page, and the only person with access to any of it. Correspondence does not pass into a CRM, a sales tool, a mailing list, or a team inbox.

The practice operates from India and works with clients across Europe, the UK, Ireland, and North America. If you write to me from the EEA, your message is stored outside it, which is the reason that sentence is here.

Point of contact for anything on this page: sneha@ekaoneglobal.com

What I collect

From the website itself, nothing. There are no contact forms, no analytics scripts, no advertising or social tracking pixels, and no cookies set by me. The contact button opens your own email client. Nothing you type there passes through this site.

From you, only what you choose to send. If you email me or message me on LinkedIn, I receive whatever you put in that message. Typically a name, an email address, and a description of what is not working in your company. Occasionally a document you have chosen to attach.

From the host, standard server logs. This site is served by Netlify, which records IP addresses and request data in server logs as part of delivering the page and protecting against abuse. This happens for every website you visit and is not something I look at, query, or retain separately.

Why I have it

To reply to you, and to carry out an engagement if one follows. Under the GDPR this is legitimate interest for an initial reply, and performance of a contract once we are working together. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, it is processing for the purpose for which you voluntarily provided it.

I do not use your details for marketing, newsletters, or any list, unless you have asked to be on one. I have never had one.

Where it lives, and for how long

Correspondence sits in Google Workspace, on the ekaoneglobal.com domain. Documents you send, if any, sit in the same account or in a storage location we agree on for the engagement.

  • If a conversation goes nowhere, I delete the thread within twelve months.
  • If we work together, I keep engagement records for as long as the work runs, and for up to three years afterwards for tax and professional purposes. Then they go.
  • Client working files are handled under whatever agreement we sign, which takes precedence over this page.

Client data is processed inside the client's own environment and under the client's own accounts wherever the work allows it. That is a practice commitment, not a legal one, and it is the reason I can say what I say about it.

Who else sees it

Nobody. I do not sell personal data, share it with partners, trade it, or feed it into any list. The only third parties involved are the ones that operate the pipes: Google Workspace for email, Netlify for hosting, LinkedIn if you contact me there. Each of those has its own privacy terms, and none of them is receiving anything from me that you did not already send through them.

Nothing on this site tries to find out who you are. That is deliberate.

Cookies and fonts

This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Typefaces are currently requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads, and your IP address is visible to Google in the course of it. No cookie is set and nothing is stored by me. I am moving these files onto this domain, at which point no third party is involved in serving you this page at all.

What you can ask for

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, ask me to stop processing it, or object to my having it at all. Email me and it happens. In practice this takes minutes, because the volume involved is one email thread.

If you are in the EU, the UK, or the EEA and you think I have handled something badly, you can complain to your national supervisory authority. If you are in India, the Data Protection Board. I would rather you told me first.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no version history because there has not yet been a version to keep.
